The department is certified to BS EN ISO 9001:2008 certification number FS 00857 and our calibration process follows BS EN ISO 10012:2003
Equipment requiring confirmation in a tightly controlled environment is carried out in the standards room maintained at 23 °C ± 2 °C, relative humidity 50% ±10% RH, and for a less critical environment at 23 °C ± 4 °C, relative humidity < 65% RH.
The range of measurements stated below relate to the use of readily available items of dedicated laboratory equipment. Many measurement ranges may be extended using specially characterised measurement set-ups or “special to type” test fixtures as needs arise.
